I remembering making that prayer many years ago…And just like Reinhard Bonnke said, "I cannot but move to the drum beat of the Holy Spirit in his life." I feel the same for myself in my life too. I cannot help…Try as I might to curb the sense of urgency in my heart but there it is again…everytime the word missions is mentioned…everytime I heard Africa or see the name of the country…My heart beats faster and a sense of needing and wanting to be there overcomes my heart. 

"When I started in Africa, I started from zero. And everyone can start there…We must never despise small beginnings.

Keep the divine call in front of your eyes and pursue it with all purpose… and see hands of God lift you up…

I heard Africa. I don’t know how…but here I am."

Reinhard Bonnke

These were the words from Reinhard Bonnke in last year’s Hillsong Convention… Reinhard Bonnke is one of the greatest evangelists in Africa. His rallies attract people in millions and thousands. In one of the rallies in Nigeria, Reinhard Bonnke saw more than 1 million people come to Christ. What’s so amazing about his ministry is not how simple his sermons are…but how God moves in signs & miracles in every rally to heal and to set people free from many kinds of strongholds in their lives. And through it all, Bonnke never fails to give all glory to God…testifying that none of it is him cause he came from a traditional Christian background that didn’t even believe in the pursuing of signs & miracles…But his ministry has been a blessing to many in these areas…

Lord, may your promises be brought to pass even as I stayed focused on you and even as I live the best that I can every moment that I have…

It’s not what I can do, but what you have done that will enable me.

It’s not about how well I will be able to keep to this path but how faithful you are in my life to keep me in your arms…

I will follow you, Lord. Here I am. Send me.
